Thanks to our expertise, we’re happy to offer advice on your project at the design stage. Involving us early can mean a reduction in build cost. For example, reducing your roof pitch by one degree could make the difference between us being able to deliver your trusses in one piece or not. Or reducing the size of an attic room and attic truss installation by a few hundred mm could remove the need for additional steel beams.

Types of Truss
Standard Fink Roof Truss
A fink truss is very common type of roof truss that uses a ‘W’ shape between the chords and is an efficient roof truss shape for many different projects.
Attic Trusses
Roof trusses are described as ‘cold’, where the insulation is placed below the attic, or ‘warm’, where the insulation is placed in the roof itself. Attic trusses add additional floor space and create an insulated layer.
Scissor Roof Truss
A scissor truss, sometimes known as a vaulted truss, can be used to create more interesting ceiling shapes as they allow the height of a room to be increased using smaller timbers.
Hip Roof Truss
A hip truss can be used to create a flat roof section between roof slopes which helps to reduce the height of a building where that may be a consideration.
Mono Roof Truss
A mono truss is sloped in one direction and uses a single rafter. A mono truss can also be sued to form lean-to roofs and added as an addition to an existing building.
Raised Tie Roof Truss
A raised tie truss in used to give extra headroom and create a higher ceiling, without increasing the overall height of the building.
